How do I make sure my scissor beak Polish is getting enough grit?

I typically was feeding grit on the floor but obviously my Polish can't peck it from the ground. I have crumbles and water in 2 deep dishes, can I just add the grit to the food and hope he gets enough?

could you put out another feeder with just grit, so maybe he will be able to take what he needs without trying to pick up off the ground.

Lol as far as chicken math, I've lost one now and so the adage, lose one replace with 3 rings true because after all I DID want 10 to begin with and 7, well thats such an odd number!

I'll try that. It hadn't even occurred to me about the grit and I know how important that is for them. Nothing like a scissorbeak to keep it all interesting!
