How do i stop a kiddy pool from freezing?

    I live in a cool climate and i don't want to get ducks just to kill them when winter comes

    You need to keep the water heated and circulating for it not to freeze.

    I just ordered some heated buckets for my goats from Jeffers---they had submersible heaters too. Check out the website www.jefferslivestock.com

    well my ducks got so frustrated with the kiddie pool cause it sprung a leak that I came home the other day to find them in the water garden!

    Get a stock tank feeder - and then put in one of those de-icers.

    I think a livestock tank heater would work. Check with your local TSC or farm supply store.

    The farm stores around here sell a "pond heater". Look for it in the garden section, wild bird section, or farm livestock section as I've seen it in all three areas. Works for 50-500 gallons, plastic ok.
