Wow very pretty chicks! The first one looks like mine!! What breed are they??

Hens tend to grow their tail feathers earlier than roo's

My BO pullets grew their feathers faster. The ones without tails look like my roo did at that age.

They are Buff Orpington's! I have 3 that have long tail feather's and 3 that don't! Im new at this and im very confused lol im going to post more pics in a few days! lol thanks!

I also had a couple of my girls get pink combs fairly early, but my roo got his wattles way before the girls. It took quite awhile to be sure he was a roo and none of the girls were though, about 7-8 weeks I think.

My roo is on the right. They were around 3 weeks I think. He had no tail, bald shoulders, and a lot more chick down still.
