How do I transport a 18 day old duckling.
Only one.
Will a small-ish clear plastic box work?
With bedding?
It's a 2-3 hour drive.
I'm going to Arkansas for 4th of July.

Will you be transporting inside the car? If so you should be able to regulate the temperature enough for it to be safe.

I'd just set her in the bin with the lid off. You could out a small screen over it just in case

I moved from Raleigh to Chicago, a 15-hour drive, with my three-week old duckling in a big plastic container (which was also the brooder). I just kept a thermometer up by me to make sure the temp in the car was okay, and I stopped regularly to let her eat and remove any wet bedding. Here's a photo I took at a rest stop.

Thanks!
Cute duckling!
I had that exact same mirrow for one of my birds!
The one in the bin!
I'm going to Arkansas for forth of July on the 2nd.
I'm going in a 4 seated Jeep.
Usually I sit in the back with my brother and all of our bags get the passenger seat.
But this time I think I am going to have my brother sit in the passenger seat and use where he usually sits for the duckling and put our stuff in a tub and strap in on the back or somthing.

That should work fine. Have a good holiday!

My duck loves that mirror. Maybe yours would play with one too.
