How do you get hard boiled eggs with fresh eggs

    I love me some deviled eggs, But when we try to use fresh eggs , they dont peel very good. Whats the secret.

    Did you let them sit in cold water after cooking

    Easiest way is to leave a dozen in the back of the fridge (or countertop) just for deviled eggs. They will peel just fine when they are a couple of weeks old. If you put them in a bowl of water and they stand up on their small end, they'll peel! You will get lots of advice about water temps, salt or vinegar in the water, and such. I've tried them all, set some back, it's more reliable.
