How do you make threads stickey? :)

How do threads become -"stickey"? Is there an way to request an thread to be stickey, or make it "stickey"? Thanks

stickys normally get tagged because of extremely heavy interest,high importance due to health or safety factors, items of special interest,you get the idea. I think you can PM one of the moderators to request a sticky.

Actually, the simplest way for us is to report it, so the link is right there, and so the first available mod can handle it. We don't sticky a lot of threads, but it will be considered if reported.

It is usually used to inform mods of inappropriate behavior but sometimes its used to just bring the thread to the mods attention for possibly being made a sticky.​

Or if you want your own thread moved or taken down.

Reporting is a good way to get a mods attention for anything good or bad. Reporting allows all mods to see it and the first available mod (or most appropriate) to take care of it.
