Is it MAR-ans, with the emphasis on the MAR, or is it Ma-RANS, like, mu-RANS? Or even MAR-ins?

I always say Mu-RAHNS. (emphasis on the end syllable, and with a pronunciation like the A in Car.)

Depends on whether you want a French or English pronunciation.
