    what kind are they?

some you can tell by coloring or by quacks...

some believe in the pencil trick... but I don't rely on the pencil trick.

take some thread, tie it the eraser of the pencil and hold string out tight over the animal if it goes in a circle it is a girl if it goes back and forth a boy---this also supposedly works over the wrist or belly of pregnant woman...

Post some pictures! You can usually tell how they talk, but depending on the breed there are other ways by looking at 10 weeks, though it's still hard.

At 10 weeks, you should be starting to get some signs of what gender they are depending on the breed. Most reliable is the quack test at that age. Some breeds will begin to change bill color, too, at about that age, and others may start to get small amounts of their adult plumage.

Females are veryy loud, and males are quiet...
Of course I thought I had 6 female pekins, cause they were all ridiculously loud.... and one ended up being a male. But I love them all the same [IMG]
