Just wondering how corn works to keep chickens warm?
Chickens expend a lot of calories when they're trying to stay warm. Corn has a good amount of calories in it, so they won't get cold. Hope this helps!
the starches in corn are converted to sugar as the chicken metabolizes it and sugar is what provides cells the energy they need to keep the chicken warm.
