How early is too early for pullets to lay an egg?

One of my buff Orpingtons has an odd lump right by her vent-she's only 11 weeks old. Is that too young to lay? And what else could the lump be? She's happy enough and behaving normally. She also just got over coccidiosis

I doubt very much it is an egg. Cocci are rough on their intestine; I wonder if she has some sort of sore or abscess from that. Maybe a small amount of yogurt each day would be soothing. Encourage her to drink lots of water if you can.

Ok....I've been giving her yogurt...I'll keep doing it. I thought it was too early for eggs
