This is my new coop. The chickens have been in there a few weeks now and seem to love it. I used part of my horse "lean to" or shelter to make a coop and a run. It was easier than I thought to put wood walls onto a steel frame metal building. So check it out and see how we did it.

Oh, wow, that's awesome!

The horse seems to be feeling a little jealous

wanna know what the fancy woodwork is??? Old fence pickets. We had a stack of them laying around. We just cut of the pointed end and used them as siding. Worked great. Then I just water sealed them.

Quote:Oh yeah I made it as big as I could. And I even thought that someday the horse could give up another stall and I could put another building on the other end of the run.
Always thinking ahead. But don't tell my DH this....he can't believe that my chicken house is bigger than his work shed.

I love it! I love the tunnel. I think it is a great idea and one that I will use to get the chickens around the water trough!
