how long after Muscovies "get busy" will eggs be fertile?

My duck hatched a few eggs in June. She has just shown interest in going back to the main coop in the last couple of days and started laying again last Sunday. These first few were not fertile. The 5th of August was the first day I know the drake for sure covered her. So how long do I have to wait for fertile eggs?

We would like to hatch a fall batch. Any ideas (beyond cracking and checking)...I'd hate to waste any that were fertile.

    Thanks!

Eggs should be fertile within 2 or 3 days of mating.
