how long can a chick live in a piped aircell??

i think my egg has internally piped , its day 20 and i see a dark sort of triangle in the air cell. i saw this at about 3pm and still nothing temp is 101.5 and humidity is 63 % when will he pip ??

I'd say about 24 hours. He'll pip when he's ready. but if you keep candling during this stage, you are putting the chick at risk. Good luck with your hatch. Now, step away from the bator.

My duck pipped Tuesday night. The first one JUST got out of the shell about an hour ago. Another one pipped last night. Still nothing from the other two.

I have no sympathy
