How long can a fresh egg "sit" before it goes in the incubator?

I've got 6 eggs that have been in the basement for 5 days and I'm not sure how long they can be there before they're no longer good enough to go in the incubator. I've been having so much trouble getting my DIY incubator to the correct temp and am getting ready to just pop these eggs in there and take my chances.

Or should I just scramble them?

10-14 days is usually the tops for fertility. You are still in great shape at 5 days
