How long can eggs sit before they have to be put in an incubator?

    How long can eggs sit before they have to be put in an incubator? I have a man mail me eggs on tuesday. I am not going to put six eggs in the bator , that not enough so i was wondering how old can the eggs be before i put them in the bator?-Thanks

    7-10 days for best fertiltiy/viablity
    some people have had sucsess with 14+ day old eggs but after 7-10 the hatchbiltiy is affected.

    I would noy hold them past 14 days the sooner the better. You really never know how long they had them before they shipped.
