    Hiya all,

    Does anyone here know as a general guide how long do eggs last and how to tell if an egg is gone off?

    Thanks:)

    I know that the ones you get at the store are already two weeks old otherwise you wouldn't be able to peel them when hardboiled [IMG]

    I believe they have an expired date of one month so safely I would say 6 weeks is the max [IMG]

    Thank you NottinghamChicks,

    I never really though about it until now, that we have a more or less constant supply of eggs...

    @Imp

    Thanks for the link [IMG]

    Well the house is a fridge, so the eggs should stay nice and fresh, even frozen at times [IMG]

    If unsure, place egg in a full bowl of water. If it sinks its good, if it floats its bad. [IMG]
