Chickens and turkeys are fertile for weeks;I don't know quail. But a hen usuallysets how many eggs in her nest 3-4? I'm betting she lays more than that as most clutches are based on a high number of chicks hatching. I would set eggs every 7 days for 3 weeks and know the hatch rate will decrease over the weeks. Go for it! GL

You will need a hatcher and an incubator to mange the staggered hatches; can you borrow? Or make a hatcher?
