You can put them in their outside pen when fully feathered and can produce own body heat (5-8 weeks of age)

I got tired of my chicks being inside and put them in the outdoor brooder at 3-4 weeks of age. I put the 250 watt heat bulb out there and turned it on only at night. Last night was the first night w/out the light and they are fine. They are 5 weeks old now.

I've got mine in the house right now also but will soon be moving them to a cage I have in a building outside.
