I have 3 chicks born within a day of each other and they just don't seem to be doing as well as other chicks I've had at that age. These eggs were from my silkies, not shipped. They seem to have at least one spraddle leg if not both, so I made a brace with a bandaide. I took the brace off the oldest one, which is 3-4 days old and seemed to be doing better walking with the brace. It originally had only one leg out to the side. Anyhow, so I took the brace off cuz it looked better, and that darn leg starts sticking out again. I had the brace on for at least 2 full days. How long should I leave them on? How long should it take for them to get better? What should I do if they don't show improvement?
