How long does it take a chick who has pipped to break out of the shell?

There is not a standard answer. It can take anywhere from just a few minutes to over a day. It just depends on the chick.

My first chick to hatch took about 12 hours but the rest of them took about 30 minutes to 1 hour.

If they are not hatched by 24 hours I would ask someone what you should do for assistance.

let it wait 12-24 hours from pip hole and no action. I would not help a peeping chick with no pip from a shell. after day 21-22 you can make an air hole, but still no helping.
If you help too soon you get a weird belly button, you will have to make another thread on what is wrong with the belly button, and the chick may not live.
