    Hello there,

From the first time you see peck marks in the shell, it can take 24--48 hours for the baby to fully hatch. It's usually about 1 day but sometimes it goes on longer. Anything longer than 48 hours and you've got a chick in trouble. At this time you should consider helping the chick free itself from it's egg and before the membrane dries out and totally traps the young baby.

thanks guys, but the lil guy (we named him Uno) died at 4 days old. [IMG] his crop got punctured my mum or dads toe nail and it died. [IMG] he was my first baby pigeon, hoping future babys will have better luck.
