So, I have a couple Isa Browns we have been waiting to start laying. Well, we finally found a spot in a window well they have been laying them! We have 2 girls and found 8 eggs! It has been in the 90s and I don't know if these eggs are going to be OK to eat. Is there a way to check them or should l just throw them out?

  2. Just throw them out. It's better to be safe than sorry. I'd hate to tell you wrong and then you end up sick from bad eggs

Float test. If they sink, they're good. If they float, they've begun to decompose.

  4. True I forgot about that. Is it really accurate? I've never used that trick before, but have heard of it.

Pretty accurate. Using it, I've thrown out bantam eggs that looked decent when cracked, but had a faint odor.
