How long should it take to hatch??? Egg has been pipped for10 hours!!!

    An egg started to hatch this afternoon and I had to leave for work---it's still not out now!! The hole is bigger but its not that far along HELP!!! Advice needed--never hatched before!![​IMG]

    It can take up to 24 hurs for them to Zip .

    I've had some out in as little as 6, and have had some pip early on day 19 and be the last out on day 22.

    Gotta give them time. Relax!

    I usually allow them 24 hours before I help them out. But once you help, you've got to continue until they are out and thriving, and even then there is no guarantee you wont loose them.

    I'm afraid it would get such a bad chill if I helped it out:(---and it takes the little bator a minute or two to get temp back up.
