how long til feritle?

    How long until eggs are fertile from young birds? just curious

    If you have a rooster and he is breeding the hens, then they eggs should be fertile and ready to hatch.

    First thing he does at lights on:lol: maybe I will have to throw a couple in the bator and see if he is gettin it done:)

    Eggs from new layers that are young shouldn't be hatched out right away even if they are fertile. You'll end up with chicks that will either die very young or have no resistance to anything. I'd wait until the hens have been laying at least a couple of months if I were you.
