Hi,
Have been following the advice on here to stop broody hen from hogging the coop and hassling me and hubs when we go to get the eggs. About 2 weeks ago she stopped laying and started just sitting in the coop either on the others' eggs or just by herself if we took them out. We put her in a wire cage last night. She wasn't too worried about it. The cage is insidethe pen so she can see all the others, but not get to the coop. She is just sitting in there today, has water and food in with her. How long on average before she lays an egg and buys her way out of jail? I do feel a bit sorry for her!
