how long to nurse a sick chicken b4 deciding to put down?

I just don't know how long to try and nurse her back...
My chicken had worms and mites... treated 2 weeks ago for the worms just found the mites a few days ago... hand feeding her as she's too weak to walk- how long do you think it will take her to regain her strength?

not sure how long, but do you have diatom powder? we used this on the floor in the coop, up in the roosts & even sprinkled it on the birds. neighbors had mite issue & we were concerned of contamination.
this powder kills mites

Thanks! I did clean out coop and put Seven-5 down... Had DE in always but... when a chicken can't preen herself it won't help.
We took her to the vet today and put her down : (
