How long until they can stand up?

    The chick is completely hatched out now:) How long until it can stand up? It's like it is unfolding a little bit more now... I guess that is normal?

    It's probably exhausted but they can stand fairly soon afterward...wait for it's feathers to dry and it will be running over everything....other eggs and chicks...

    do the feet look a little curled up when they first get out?

    So it is normal for the feet to look a little curled? It looks like maybe they looked when it was cramped in the egg.

    Yea, he should kick and stretch them out a little, they kind of roll around for a bit lol but he'll get up in his own time [​IMG]

    Our baby that hatched this morning took a good 2 hours of wobbling and falling over before she got the hang out it.
