How long will a 50# bag of chick starter last?

I will be getting 15 chicks at the end of Feb. I just checked with the feed store this morning. They only sell starter feed in 50# bags (at least locally). Have no idea what sizes, say TSC may sell.

Any idea how long this will last? This will be our first batch of chicks, so...I'm just trying to estimate...

    Thanks.

Buy the 50. Feed is expensive enough, but paying for tiny bags? No. You'll be amazed how much your birds will begin to eat as they grow older. Since you can feed starter all the way to adulthood, it will not go to waste. In fact, you'll be back buying more. Trust me. Enjoy your chicks!!!

Thanks...I kinda figured they'd blow through it fairly quickly...
