how long???

    how long do you leave the broody hen with the keets??

    like to take the "mama" away. they are 3 weeks old so how long until i can seperate them cuz she is really mean.

    I think it depends on what you want to do with the keets. If they're all going to live together you can let her raise them. I took mine away at three days because she was losing them. Also I sold them so it was better to get them away from her when they were young. At three weeks they might still need a brooder. Depends on your weather. When I took mine away the mom got over it real quick but the keets cried for her.

    If she's not being nice they are probably better off with you if you can set up a brooder? They still need some climate control at this age.
