    ...does it take for a hen to lay its eggs? The actual laying process, not what age they begin. Mine have not begun laying yet and I am curious to the process?

    You mean for it to actually spit one out? . . . Less than a minute, really. A pullet/hen may decide to lay on the nest anywhere from 2 minutes to 2 hours, but the actual egg laying only takes less than a minute. [​IMG]
