how manny breeds

    hi i was looking for some quiet duck breeds all ready got scovies dose any one know of any?

    I have heard that besides Muscovies, Cayugas can be pretty quiet, and I also hear Welsh Harlequin's being tossed around too. When I am at the fair and certain poultry shows though, from the breeds I see there personally the Runners are pretty quiet, same as the Cayugas c:

    Personally I dont, but I'd assume like with most animals the bigger the critter the bigger the poo ^^

    Every runner I've encountered was noisy. I have a runner who is as loud as a goose. I'm surprised my neighbors haven't complained.

    Huh, Odd! Most I've met are quite quiet, though do have spurts of loudness but hush down well XD

    I had a Rouen that was terribly loud. Almost as bad as a rooster! Into the freezer she went. Often the lead duck will be the loudest, no matter the breed. Now I have 2 WH and 1 Cayuga and they are all fairly quiet.
