How many broodies do you have right now?

I have six broody silkies right now and its the middle of winter hear in maine.Also a bantam cochin.So I have a total off 20 silkie eggs under the silkies.None for the cochin.Tried to break silkies LOST CAUSE.So in 20days or so I will have babies

I am in WIsconsin and irs been -20 one of my 21 hens was broody for a month. (I didnt let her sit-ddint think they would handle the cold weather). Positive of her being broody-some of my eggs didnt freeze during the day and burst!!

I have one broody right now, naturally the one everyone wants chicks from, the Mother to my Sizzles. D:<

We have a foot of snow on the ground and she thinks having babies is a good idea. Silkies are truly silly!
