How Many Cochin Bantams ....... ?

How many cochin bantams could I fit in a coop that is 47 1/2" x 491/2".... Keep in mind this is just sleeping quarters they have a big run....

I think you could do 5 in that size but I would suggest only 4 since you will need nest box, food, and water.
Climate kind of determines the rest. If it gets cold enough that they would be spending some days or even weeks locked in you might want a larger space.

I never lock them in the coop they stay out they only go in for bed and to lay an egg...

Just keep in mind, in rainy or snowy weather they'll naturally spend more time inside the coop and you don't want them crowded then.
