Iv looked all over the internet for the answer to this question but I can’t find one! I’m letting my quail d’anver hatch a baby chick but I don’t know when to expect it to come. It was laid on September 10th and was under a broody hen on September 10th. I thought it would be like a bantam egg length (19 days)? The photo is it on the 8th or 9th day I think.

Chicken eggs in general take 21 days to hatch.
Some bantams hatch as early as 19 days, but some take the full 21 days just like larger chickens, and some chickens (large or bantam) can even be a day or two later yet.

D'Anvers are bantams, so anywhere from day 19 to day 23.

19 days would be September 29, 20 days would be September 30, and 21 days would be October 1. Expect the chick somewhere in that time, but don't give up hope until October 3 or 4 if it goes late.
