28 days total, take them off the turner at day 25.

I had good luck with the dry incubation method, only having a teaspoon or 2 of water in the incubator, then in the hatcher cranking the humidity up to 70-75.

I tried the "regular" incubation method, (I've got a hovabator with a fan). That's filling one section with water for the first 25 days then filling more of them with water for hatching and got lousy results. I'm sticking with the dry incubation method from now on.

Interesting...I hatched 35 of 45 guinea eggs (10 not fertile) last year with 60% humidity, same bator as Swampducks with no problems. This year I have 28 guinea eggs in the bator and 9 ducks eggs as well. 7 of those were donated by my neighbor, she has a mix of males ducks with 1 mallard female so who knows what I'll end up with and 2 wood duck eggs I raided from a cavity nest in a tree in my backyard [IMG](we have 28 acre marsh off the back of our yard with a ton of waterfowl wildlife). They were all set last week between 17th & 18th of June so none have been candled yet. We're in a drier climate so maybe that makes the difference between dry incubation & normal.

I use the "dry" method also. Humidity 25 to 35 % , never got the chance to up the humidity on that hatch as they arrived 4 & 5 days early. Hatched 16 of 17 eggs. I paniced because they were so early, my brooder wasn't even ready for them. But they are all doing fine, wellexcept one that I had to cull early on. However on all my other hatches, on the last 3 days I usually raise my humidity to 50 or 55%. Hatch rate is usually prett good. Good luck.
