Got five eggs from five girls. They're great! They lay one a day, every day.

Zero...again! They just haven't come back after the November moult in their second year. But, their combs are beginning to redden.

Why are my chickens not laying? I have not had any eggs in several days and very few in the last month or so. I guess it is the molt but this is getting old.

Wheezy, wow that's cold! Mine layed through the cold but we only got down into the upper teens. And then only for a few days. Wind chill was lower but I moved the tractor coop into the lee of the house and built a wall of straw bales for protection.[IMG]
