How many eggs do brock hens lay a day?

    I have 4 and was wanting to only get about at least 12 eggs a week would be good for me & my family of 3, my BRs havnt started laying yet, there only 20 weeks old, but im hoping about 1-2 eggs a day be just fine, thanks

    Any breed and any age chicken, will only lay at the most, one egg a day per bird. Some breeds will lay less, but BR should lay at least 5-6 eggs a week per bird. With four hens, you should get about 20-24 eggs a week.

    Oh wow thats more eggs than I wanted I guess it will do, I can give a dozen to my mom she loves eggs more than me lol, but thank you!!:)

    You can bake like crazy!! That's what I do with my extras. Pumpkin bread takes 4 eggs! I bake a lot more now that I don't have to run to the store for eggs. :)

    Thanks jenifry, thats a good idea im bake cup cakes instead I have a 2 1/2 old daughter, and she likes cup cakes & cookies lol:)
