I was sitting here, eating another egg...and thought "do I eat them excessively?" How many eggs do you eat a week, not ones that are in baked goods, etc. But the eggs that you eat boiled, in a quiche, etc. I eat between 5-7 a week...how bout' you?

2-4 for myself. DH eats at least twice that many, plus the dog gets one everytime we have an egg breakfast.

The other day DH said "shouldn't we use this bacon? it's been in here a while" I said "I just bought that last payday. Don'tcha remember when I made scrambled egg & bacon sandwiches the other day? With all these eggs I can buy bacon at least every payday. "

It only LOOKS like the same package we had last month [IMG]

Probably a dozen a week for me. I never ate that many before I got chickens, but the homegrown eggs are just so much better tasting and healthier than the store bought ones.

DH & I probably average 2 eggs per day each - either we have a couple for breakfast, or might have HB eggs on a salad, some baking or in recipes. That makes about 28/week for the 2 of us.
