How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

11 out of 12 today but the broody RIR took 4

12/13 Welsummers! 4/4 Ducks! 3/5 Americanas! And 2 Eggs from my 21 week old RIR and Barred Rock Pullets! 1 of the 2 was a good size double yolker! Not bad for April 1st!

I really want a Broody! Really bad! Any suggestions of Best Breed?

2/2 that are laying. I have 3 pol pullets that I am just waiting on! They are about 22 weeks! We also have 5 six week old pullets, so technically it is 2/10, but only 2 have the ability to lay lol

I go 4/5 or 5/5 every day but that doesn't count the 2 girls the are 20-21 weeks. I'm hoping I can report 7/7 real soon!

So, I have been wondering why my eggs production is down!

So, I give the coop a good clean out, only finding 3 girls and the roo outside. I think the 4th is behind their little "sleep house" so I look and no sign. I close the coop door and find her sat behind the door on 21 eggs!

Now I know where to look.............
