how many Eggs you get today

    7 from 8 layers...plus a new girl who was trying to nest in the blackberries before I caught her and put her in the run. She ended up laying in the nest box!!!! Now we just have one more girl to go and all will be laying!

    One is molting. Oh, that is so difficult to watch. There are feathers EVERYWHERE and she looks so sad. Won't let me pick her up. I'm giving her meal worms, scrambled egg, tuna and anything else that is high in protein that she'll eat. She's become quite picky these days.

    8 eggs from 8 chickens 2nd day in a row. I've gone from why will they not lay to holly crap what are we gonna do with all these eggs! I like this problem way better.
