How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

very nice feeling huh

I was worried for awhile since I heard. They lay in three tofour months and mine had not started but some people were saying six to eight months. My leghorns started with white eggs for a month and I am just now getting Brown eggs. If all my hens start laying I should get six or so every day. Then when my second flock starts laying I should get dooze eggs a day. My family eat a lot of eggs. I have four kids and my wife has one.

Only advice I would give new people to chickens is be patient and the eggs will come. Clean water, clean coop and run and lastly good food.
