2 for 3 today. The RIRs are going every other day now.

11 eggs today

- 3 Silkies
- 1 Old English Game
- The rest are EE's
A lot of green. They must be new layers. And I'm finally getting a blue egg again.

10 eggs today. 12 hens. Not to bad I'd say.

Put 17 eggs in lockdown & heard at least 1 chirping!

2 eggs from the free range chickens

I think they moved their nest

Temp 86F degrees no winds

The one in the middle came out of it's shell just after midnight

This one started just after 2100 hrs or 9pm so he should be out by the morning

These are the two that hatched over the week end and one is already getting some feathers

These are the two that hatched over the weekend

This is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday hatches

This one started Wednesday 9pm so the little surprise should be here by morning

I haven't any idea how many I hatch each week but I know I gut some great trades this month and half the feed came from trading chicks for feed in the local trade paper and that was mostly EE chicks but now I am hatching out Russian Orloff's and Molten Houdan's and they are good for $8 to $10 dollars each ..

Been busy at work for 3 days, so I couldn't post for those days. Can't even remember the eggs count.
Today I have 29/37 and 6/10.

I have 2 EE & 2 RIR, all 23wks old today....EE/Dusk & RIR/Rojo have been laying one a day since Dusk started on Sat, Rojo laid her first on Sun. Waiting for for EE/Tawny & RIR/Ehu to start. Think it'll be soon, showing interest in the nest box, Ehu squats although the EEs never have. Funny part is the Rojo sings no matter who lays and she is LOUD!
