How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I have 14 surprise, surprise surprise from my big girls 2 from silkie coop 3 silkie now 1 bantum cochin

We consistently get two eggs from three hens per day all year long. On the very hottest southern California summer day, we might only get one or two though. We have a superstar RIR, BO, and Australorp.

11 yesterday. Plus two slab sided eggs that were soft and had to be tossed. It think the strong storm that passed through really spooked my Leghorn pullets.

I guess I now have at least 4 layers. So far we've gotten 4 today

2 eggs from our 13 pullets. they have been laying for 3 weeks, and not all of them have started yet.

We’ve had 3 out of 6 for 3 days in a row! My girls have dropped off production bad. Don’t know what’s causing it either. They’re only a year and a half old. We’ve been fighting broodiness lately but none have been stubborn enough to stay on the nest. Maybe they’re pissed about the 8 pullets about to move in with them. I just don’t know!
