None for this week! Pullets are growing fast though.

I'll soon be where you are with respect to number of eggs per day but I don't have any pullets coming along to pick up the slack.

That's a shame Bruce! I felt lucky to find some vaccinated ones. I didn’t have a choice of breeds either but since they are red sex links at least the chances of eggs are good! Oh and they were $7 each! What a bargain!

I got zero eggs yesterday, the hens are plotting against me and dumping eggs off in the broody nesting box. I gave up trying to break her, if she wants to raise little Seramas into winter let her suffer for it! I might have to bring her inside with her chicks by the time they hatch.

So yesterday came out with 9 from the big coop ., Was greeted this morning with a blow out of white feathers. three are molting of my older girls .. Red my EE rooster is about out of tail feathers just now in his molt..

Used to be a dozen for a day was a good egg day in our coop and that really was a great amount. Record day yesterday with 27. Some of my spring pullets are starting to lay finally. One of my surprise layers was a "boy" silkie mix that was dropped off to me this spring. lol
