since my 2 hens and 1 muscovy duck has gone broody im getting hardly any now! i got 7 today however yesterday i only got 3 eggs.
i have 12 hens and 4 Muscovy ducks.

We had 7 yesterday. It included one from my girl that had coccidiosis, so glad she's better now! It's the bluegreen egg on the left!

45 yesterday!!!!! Praise the Lord!!!

45 out of 69, and some of those 69 are pullets who aren't even laying yet!

I decided to experiment with freezing eggs! I have more of these silicone containers, but I'm only using one for the moment! I plan on popping the eggs out and sealing them into food saver bags, then removing what I need and resealing the bags. I'm interested to see what the eggs are like when I thaw them! I also bought hydrated lime as I want to try water glassing!

I initially bought the containers for freezing my homemade bone broth! Hopefully this works out and I will have another use for them! I have about 5 dozen eggs in my fridge right now, so I'm hoping this works and I can freeze a bunch more!
