How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I got 45 yesterday.

What time of day do you all collect your eggs?

I collect eggs randomly throughout the day.

Ok, I came home this morning to feed the girls, checked their egg box and lo and behold, late in the day yesterday one of em layed a second egg for the day. Expecting to be a 2 or 3 egg day now.

One other thing I noticed, if they lay eggs that are smaller in overall size than their average, the next day I can expect a fairly large egg to show up. Is this normal?

When you have new layers it's like an adventure, you never really know what you're gonna get. But that's pretty normal.

I collect 2x a day I have really early layers and I have midmorning layers

I have been getting 12-14 eggs a day from 19 birds. I have some old gals so I'm hey get a pass. I know who isn't laying and yup it's the old gals.




So many eggs!
