I have a young roo (6 mos) which has gone mostly lame. It seemed to progress from a little limp to basically not being able to walk over the span of a week. Other than that he seems fine and healthy. The rest of the flock seem fine at the moment as well. Several weeks ago I had another chicken that presented sort of the same symptoms. She got so bad that I had to put her down (which I will probably have to do with this one as well. I don't know if it is Merek's or not, but I was just wondering how many of you immunize against it? I have a batch of Chicks hatching out in the next several days. Last year I did not immunize against it.
