How many quail??

I am going to try to get some coturnix quail this fall. I live in a family of 7 and we eat a lot of eggs. I was wondering how many quail I should get to provide enough for my family, and sell a few for profit. I can build the pen any size. Thank you all.

On average a hen lays an egg a day... 4 eggs-ish to 1 chicken egg.
Let’s say 8 eggs per person per day...
So 56 hens with that logic.
You can add profit on top of that. Whether it’s eggs or birds.
And if you plan on breeding/incubating you will need Roos and potentially extra hens to keep up with food demand and fertile eggs.
