How Many Times A Day Do You Have To Milk Goats??

    Hi thanks so much for answering my question. I think it was three times a day like cows but I'm not sure. help??[​IMG]

    Most folks do it twice a day roughly twelve hours apart.
    Unless you have a ridiculously heavy producer, or are trying to get a doe to produce more milk, there is no reason to go three times a day. Oh, or unless you have an injured udder than you must keep the pressure off of. :)
    You can wean them back to once a day also if that's all you want to do. I milk my does twice a day, then when I want them to start drying off, slowly cut back to once, then closely cut back from there.
    It's really up to you :)
