How much Brewer's Yeast for ducklings?

I got some grower duck feed and I’m not sure if it has everything they need. I’ll take a picture when I get home but should I give them niacin just in case?
It probably has enough for the average duckling, but some ducklings do require more niacin than others. No harm in adding brewers yeast.

Contact the mfg and ask them how much niacin your feed has. Should be no less than 55 ppm I think.

It doesn’t hurt to add Brewers or nutritional yeast to the feed ration and some birds have a higher requirement. It’s also important to check use by dates on all commercial feeds and correct storage of said feeds can also help to preserve any added vitamin and minerals. Nutritional yeast tends to be more palatable and less bitter.
